As part of a highly unusual, six-phase renovation, Reed completely demolished and remodeled the bank's teller area, adding three additional windows to accommodate the influx of new customers. With Reed as the construction manager, the bank received and updated, contemporary look, without causing any inconvenience for LaSalle's walk-in customers.

Reed was also responsible for updating the bank's communications system, installing new equipment to support the bank's voice and data transmission technologies. Using state-of-the-art fiber optics, the new system enables the branch bank to communicate more effectively with its customers, the LaSalle National Bank network and financial institutions worldwide.
